Cookie Crumble Smoothie Oats

Ingredients

Smoothie

  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 banana or sweet pear
  • 2-3 cm chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 heaped tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 heaped tablespoons cacao
  • 1 cup mylk
  • 1 date
  • optional chunk of courgette

Oats base

  • 50g soaked and drained oats
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Cookie crumble

  • pack of Gato cookies
  • crushed flaked almonds
  • chopped whole almonds
  • toasted hazelnuts
  • cacao nibs
  • chocolate chips
  • seeds
  • other pantry ingredients

Additional toppings

  • banana
  • chocolate
  • maple syrup
  • coconut yogurt
  • peanut butter

Preparation

  1. Make the smoothie by blending all smoothie ingredients until smooth.

  2. Add the blended smoothie to the oats base and warm on a gentle heat until bubbly.

  3. Prepare the cookie crumble by bashing the Gato cookies and mixing with the other cookie crumble ingredients.

  4. Top the mixture with the cookie crumble and any additional toppings, then serve.
