Crispy Sugar Free Apple Waffles
Ingredients
Batter
- 125 g butter
- 2 medium eggs
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 250 ml milk
- 150 g apple puree
For frying
- Butter or oil
Preparation
Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff
Beat the softened butter with the egg yolks until creamy
Mix the flour with baking powder
Add the flour mixture and milk to the batter alternately
Stir in the apple puree
Gently fold in the beaten egg whites
Preheat the waffle iron and grease it
Pour one scoop of batter per waffle into the preheated waffle iron
Bake until golden brown
Transfer the waffle to a cooling rack
Repeat with the remaining batter
Tips
Top the waffles as desired
Store airtight for up to 3 days
