Crispy Waffled Arepas with Ham and Cheese
Ingredients
- 320g white maize flour
- 30g light butter
- Pinch of salt
- Around 350ml warm water (add more if mix too dry)
Filling
- Ham
- Cheese
Preparation
Mix the flour, butter, water, and salt.
Divide the dough into small balls, flatten them. Add cheese and ham to one thin arepa and cover with another thin arepa.
Spray the preheated waffle maker and cook until crispy, about 15-20 minutes.
