Homemade Vegan Oat Milk
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats (100g)
- salt, to taste
- 2 dates, pitted
- 4 cups water (1L)
Preparation
Place the rolled oats in a blender.
Add salt to taste and the pitted dates for sweetness.
Add the water and blend on high for 1 minute.
Double strain the liquid into a medium-sized container using a cheesecloth-lined strainer.
Serve immediately or refrigerate in a sealed container for up to 3 days.
Tips
Homemade oat milk is healthier and more affordable, containing only natural ingredients.
Store-bought versions often include added sugar and chemicals.
