Nutty Vegan Peanut-Almond Butter Banana Bread Donuts

Ingredients

  • 2 super ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut butter or almond butter)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4-5 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas, then stir in all the wet ingredients (maple syrup, nut butter, melted coconut oil, and vanilla).

  3. Gradually add the all-purpose flour and almond flour, mixing until you achieve a pourable yet thick muffin batter consistency.

  4. Grease a donut pan or use a silicone donut mold.

  5. Fill each donut cavity with the batter, distributing it equally.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean.

  7. Once baked, remove the donuts from the oven and allow them to cool completely before carefully removing them from the pan.
