Nutty Vegan Peanut-Almond Butter Banana Bread Donuts
Ingredients
- 2 super ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut butter or almond butter)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4-5 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp almond flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, mash the bananas, then stir in all the wet ingredients (maple syrup, nut butter, melted coconut oil, and vanilla).
Gradually add the all-purpose flour and almond flour, mixing until you achieve a pourable yet thick muffin batter consistency.
Grease a donut pan or use a silicone donut mold.
Fill each donut cavity with the batter, distributing it equally.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean.
Once baked, remove the donuts from the oven and allow them to cool completely before carefully removing them from the pan.
