Easy Gluten-Free S'mores Donuts

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp nut butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 sheet of graham crackers (gluten-free if desired)
  • Mini marshmallows

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a bowl, whisk 2 eggs.

  3. Add almond flour, maple syrup, vanilla, nut butter, cinnamon, and baking powder to the bowl.

  4. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.

  5. Grease a donut pan, preferably a silicone one for easy removal.

  6. Pour the batter into the donut molds, filling them about 3/4 of the way.

  7. Bake the donuts in the preheated oven for 12-13 minutes.

  8. Remove the donuts from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Then gently pop them out of the donut molds.

  9. In a small bowl, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted.

  10. Dip each donut into the melted chocolate to coat the top.

  11. Crush a sheet of graham crackers and sprinkle the crumbs on top of the chocolate-coated donuts.

  12. Decorate the donuts by adding as many mini marshmallows as you desire.

  13. You can either put the donuts in the fridge to set the chocolate or enjoy them right away!
