Vegan Pear French Toast
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plant milk
- 1/4 cup pear puree
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Bread slices (thick and dense or slightly stale, for 4 toasts)
Preparation
Mix milk, pear puree, cinnamon and maple syrup.
Lightly dip the bread in the mixture on both sides then shake off the excess.
Heat up some vegan butter or oil in a pan, and cook the bread on both sides until golden.
Serve with more pear, cinnamon and a drizzle of maple syrup.
Tips
Use dense and thick bread for best results; slightly stale bread works well.
