Warm Cinnamon Peach Oatmeal Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe peach
  • 1-2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats or quick oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. In a small sauté pan, add sliced peaches and maple syrup, and allow to cook and soften with a pinch of cinnamon.

  2. Reserve half the sautéed peaches for topping.

  3. Add the remaining ingredients to the pan with the peaches.

  4. Stir and bring to a simmer, cooking for 3-5 minutes until thickened.

  5. Adjust salt and spices to preference, pour into a bowl, and top with the reserved sautéed peaches.

Tips

  1. Top the bowl with blueberries, pepitas, and peanut butter if desired.
