Cinnamon Peach Oatmeal Breakfast Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 ripe peach, cubed or sliced
- 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup
- 1/2 cup rolled oats or quick oats
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, plus more as desired
- Pinch of salt
Optional toppings
- Blueberries
- Pepitas
- Peanut butter
Preparation
In a small sauté pan, add sliced peaches and maple syrup and allow to cook and soften with a pinch of cinnamon.
Reserve half the sautéed peaches for topping and add the remaining ingredients to the pan.
Stir and bring to a simmer and cook to thicken, about 3-5 minutes.
Adjust the salt and spices to your preference and pour into a bowl and top with the remaining sautéed peaches.
Tips
Optionally top with blueberries, pepitas, and peanut butter for added flavor and texture.
