Apple Galette
Ingredients
- 3 macintosh apples thinly sliced
- juice of 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp vegan butter melted
- 1-2 tsp coconut sugar
Preparation
Slice apples and place in bowl
Squeeze lemon juice over apples and drizzle with maple syrup
Add-in cinnamon and stir
Set aside
Preheat oven to 425
Roll out your dough on parchment paper
Place apple slices in a desired shape in middle of dough
Using the parchment paper, fold edges in
Once galette has been formed, melt a tbsp vegan butter and brush the edges
I sprinkled approx 2 tsp coconut sugar around the edges as well
Place in preheated oven for 20 min
Reduce heat and bake for another 15 until crust is golden brown
