Apple Galette

Ingredients

  • 3 macintosh apples thinly sliced
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp vegan butter melted
  • 1-2 tsp coconut sugar

Preparation

  1. Slice apples and place in bowl

  2. Squeeze lemon juice over apples and drizzle with maple syrup

  3. Add-in cinnamon and stir

  4. Set aside

  5. Preheat oven to 425

  6. Roll out your dough on parchment paper

  7. Place apple slices in a desired shape in middle of dough

  8. Using the parchment paper, fold edges in

  9. Once galette has been formed, melt a tbsp vegan butter and brush the edges

  10. I sprinkled approx 2 tsp coconut sugar around the edges as well

  11. Place in preheated oven for 20 min

  12. Reduce heat and bake for another 15 until crust is golden brown
