Easy Homemade Stuffed Bread Rolls
Ingredients
- 800 g wheat flour
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar (level)
- 1 tablespoon salt (heaped)
- 10 g fresh yeast
Fillings
- bacon, diced
- calabresa sausage, diced
- cheese, diced
Preparation
Pour warm milk into a bowl and dissolve the yeast in it
Add the eggs, oil, sugar, and salt, and mix well by hand
Gradually add the wheat flour until the dough no longer sticks to your hands
Knead well, cut into desired pieces, roll them, and let rest for 1 hour
Brush each roll with egg yolk
Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for 40 minutes, then increase the temperature to 220Β°C and continue baking until browned
Tips
Before rolling, you can add diced bacon, calabresa sausage, or cheese to the dough for filling
No need to knead twice; the dough rises beautifully
