Peanut Butter and Banana Toast with Toppings

Ingredients

  • 1 slice of bread (sourdough recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • a small handful of blueberries
  • coconut shavings
  • cacao nibs
  • agave syrup or maple syrup, to drizzle

Preparation

  1. Toast your bread. Sourdough is recommended, but choose your favorite.

  2. Spread about 1 tablespoon of peanut butter over each slice. Use smooth or crunchy, and if allergic, choose another nut or seed butter.

  3. Add slices from half a banana to each slice of toast. Approximately 10 slices.

  4. Add a small handful of blueberries to each slice.

  5. Sprinkle coconut shavings on top.

  6. Add cacao nibs on top.

  7. Drizzle a little agave syrup over the top for added sweetness. You can also use maple syrup.
