Bangers and Mash with Onion Gravy

Ingredients

  • Large brown onion
  • Rapeseed oil
  • Water
  • Bisto best onion gravy mix
  • ASDA plant-based soya sausages
  • Powdered mashed potatoes
  • Broccoli

Preparation

  1. Slice the large brown onion and slowly fry it in rapeseed oil with a lid on the pan until it is soft, dark brown, and bittersweet.

  2. Add water and Bisto best onion gravy mix to the pan with the cooked onions to make the gravy.

  3. Pan fry the ASDA plant-based soya sausages until browned and cooked through.

  4. Prepare the mashed potatoes from the powdered packet according to package instructions.

  5. Boil the broccoli in a pan of water for 3 minutes until tender.

  6. Serve the sausages with the mash, onion gravy, and broccoli.
