Simple Kung Pao Chicken
Ingredients

- corn starch
- black pepper

Aromatics
- garlic
- ginger
- dried chili peppers (cut)
Sauce components
- bell peppers
- onion
- oyster sauce
- sweet soy sauce
- chili sauce
- water and corn starch mixture
Add-ins
- cashews
- green onions
Preparation
Fry the chicken mixed with corn starch, black pepper, salt, and a little water, then set it aside.
Sauté garlic, ginger, and cut dried chili peppers until fragrant.
Add bell peppers, onion, oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, chili sauce, and a mixture of water and corn starch; let it cook for a moment.
Add the fried chicken, cashews, and green onions; stir until well combined and serve.
Tips
Spiciness depends on the dried chilies used; add bird's eye chilies for more heat if desired.
