Crispy Fried Chicken with Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • 350 g chicken fillet
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 red bell pepper
  • 1/4 green bell pepper
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Sauce

  • 1 heaping tablespoon butter
  • 3-4 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Water, as needed

Preparation

  1. Marinate chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder for 15 minutes. Dip in egg white, coat with flour mixture evenly, fry until golden, remove, and set aside.

  2. Sauté garlic with margarine, then add onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper, and stir.

  3. Add Worcestershire sauce, sweet soy sauce, sugar, pepper, and salt, stir well, pour in a little water, add lime juice, stir briefly, and taste test.

  4. Add the fried chicken, stir until sauce is well mixed with chicken, remove from heat, and serve.
