Malaysian Noodle Soup
Ingredients
- Chicken or beef
- Garlic
- Black pepper
- Squid
- Shrimp
- Fish balls
- Eggs
- Mixed vegetables
- Tomatoes
- Chilies
- Chili sauce
- Soy sauce
- Oyster sauce
- Vinegar
- Salt
- Sugar
- Noodles
Preparation
Boil the chicken or beef until tender.
Sauté the garlic and black pepper.
Add chili sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and vinegar as needed.
Add the boiled chicken or beef along with its boiling water and add more water if you want more soup.
Add squid, shrimp, and fish balls and when the mixture boils, crack in the eggs.
Add vegetables, tomatoes, sliced chilies, and season with salt and sugar.
Finally, add the noodles and cook until done.
Tips
You can cook the noodles separately by blanching them and then serve with the soup.
