Fried Spicy Chicken Wings with Sauce

Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken wings
  • Lime juice (for marinating)
  • Crispy seasoning flour (ready-to-use)

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
  • Water (a small amount)
  • 6 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Mushroom stock (to taste)
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • 15 chopped bird's eye chilies
  • 3 minced garlic cloves (pre-fried)

Preparation

  1. Wash the chicken wings, cut them into two pieces, marinate briefly with lime juice, then wash again.

  2. Place in a container, sprinkle with crispy seasoning flour, cover tightly, and shake until evenly coated.

  3. Fry until golden brown.

  4. While frying the wings, in a separate pan, combine and heat 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce, a little water, 6 tablespoons chili sauce, 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper, mushroom stock and sugar to taste, 15 chopped bird's eye chilies, and 3 pre-fried minced garlic cloves, then bring to a boil until it bubbles.

  5. Add the fried chicken wings to the sauce, stir until the sauce coats the wings, then remove and serve hot.

Tips

  1. No salt is added because the seasoning flour and other ingredients are already salty; add salt or soy sauce if desired.
