Vegan Pancakes with Maple and Golden Syrup Toppings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 cup plant milk (I used cashew today)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp golden syrup
  • 2 tsp sunflower oil

Preparation

  1. Add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir until combined. The mixture will still have some lumps.

  2. Add a knob of butter to a frying pan. When the butter has melted, add a 1/4 cup of mixture to frying pan. Once the pancake has started to bubble on the top, flip over.

  3. Top the pancakes with chocolate spread or golden syrup as desired for variety.
