Malaysian Steamed Kaswi Gedik Dessert
Ingredients
- 5 cups water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon lime
- 2 cups wheat flour
- 1/2 cup tapioca flour
Preparation
Mix water with brown sugar and white sugar until dissolved
Wait until warm, then add lime, wheat flour, and tapioca flour
Stir with a whisk until well mixed
Strain into an oiled pan and steam until cooked
Tips
Choose dark brown sugar for the best taste
