Birthday Cake Baked Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 egg or 1 flax egg
  • 2 tbsp almond milk
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil or butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • Sprinkles
  • Coconut whipped cream

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Combine all ingredients except for sprinkles and whipped cream in a blender and blend until smooth.

  3. Add some sprinkles to the blender and gently shake.

  4. Grease a ramekin and pour in the batter.

  5. Bake for 25 minutes.

  6. Remove and top with whipped cream and extra sprinkles.

Notes

  1. Can use a flax egg instead of a regular egg for a vegan version.

  2. This recipe is inspired by birthday cake flavors and can be enjoyed as a healthy breakfast alternative.
