Coconut Oatmeal with Fresh Figs and Toppings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp coconut butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • Fresh figs
  • Pecans
  • Dark chocolate

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan, combine the oats and coconut milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the oats are cooked and the mixture has thickened, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. Stir in the coconut butter and maple syrup until well combined. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes to let the flavors meld.
