Simple Breakfast Tarts with Nutritious Filling

Ingredients

Tart shell

  • 1/2 cup Oat Flour
  • 1/3 cup Protein Powder (@macr0mike choc hazelnut)
  • 2 tbs Brown Rice Syrup
  • 1 tbs Coconut Oil (melted)
  • 2 tbs Almond Milk

Filling

  • 3 tbs Coconut Whipping Cream
  • 2 tbs Coconut Yoghurt
  • 1 tsp Acai Powder

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Add all tart shell ingredients to a bowl and mix until a thick dough forms. Press into mini tart pans and bake for 10-12 minutes.

  3. Remove from oven and cool in fridge while preparing the filling.

  4. Add filling ingredients to a bowl and whisk until a fluffy cream forms. Use an electric whisk for quicker results.

  5. Spoon filling into tart shells and add desired toppings, such as fresh blueberries and chopped hazelnuts.
