Simple Breakfast Tarts with Nutritious Filling
Ingredients
Tart shell
- 1/2 cup Oat Flour
- 1/3 cup Protein Powder (@macr0mike choc hazelnut)
- 2 tbs Brown Rice Syrup
- 1 tbs Coconut Oil (melted)
- 2 tbs Almond Milk
Filling
- 3 tbs Coconut Whipping Cream
- 2 tbs Coconut Yoghurt
- 1 tsp Acai Powder
Preparation
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Add all tart shell ingredients to a bowl and mix until a thick dough forms. Press into mini tart pans and bake for 10-12 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool in fridge while preparing the filling.
Add filling ingredients to a bowl and whisk until a fluffy cream forms. Use an electric whisk for quicker results.
Spoon filling into tart shells and add desired toppings, such as fresh blueberries and chopped hazelnuts.
