Peanut Butter and Jam Drops
Ingredients
Jam
- 1 cup frozen raspberries
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- Juice of 1/2 an orange
- 3 Tbs chia seed
Drops components
- Approximately 2 TBS peanut butter
- 3/4 c melted dark, vegan chocolate (optional)
Preparation
Prepare the jam first by combining the berries, juice and maple in a blender.
Remove and stir through the chia seeds.
Pop in the fridge to set, over night is best.
Dollop a little chia jam into each mould.
Place in the freezer to set for about 15 mins.
Drop a little peanut butter on top, set again in the freezer.
Add the choc sauce layer lastly, if you’re using.
Set.
Finally coat in the dark chocolate and keep in the fridge.
Tips
Make some toast while you’re at it and spread some on there too, this stuff is the best-tooooootally optional.
Notes
The Australian guide to healthy eating suggests adults eat 2 serves of fruit per day, with 1 serve being about 150g.
