Chewy Cashew Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup nut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 to 1 cup granulated sugar

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl to form dough.

  2. Shape the dough into balls and press with a fork to create a cross pattern.

  3. Bake in the oven for about 12 minutes until puffed and golden brown on the edges.

  4. Allow the cookies to cool for at least 20 minutes before handling.

Tips

  1. To check if done, gently lift with a spatula to see the bottom coloring.

  2. Cookies can be stored at room temperature, covered, for 3-5 days.
