Maple Pecan Stovetop Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp chopped pecans
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Heat up the milk and oats together until they start bubbling.
Add the maple syrup, pecans, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Stir together and let it cook for 8-10 minutes until it thickens.
Toppings
Add toppings such as banana, peanut butter, and Greek yogurt.
Use vegan yogurt to keep it plant-based.
