Maple Pecan Stovetop Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Toppings

  • 1/2 banana
  • some peanut butter
  • a few more pecans
  • Greek yogurt or vegan yogurt

Preparation

  1. Heat up the milk and oats together until they start bubbling.

  2. Add in the maple syrup, pecans, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  3. Stir together and let it cook for 8-10 minutes until it thickens.
