Quick Cilantro Hummus with Avocado Oil and Tahini

Ingredients

  • 1 can garbanzo beans
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 1/2 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic

Preparation

  1. Sauté onions and garlic with 1 tsp avocado oil in a small pan

  2. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 3 to 4 minutes

  3. Add the sautéed onions and garlic to a food processor with the remaining ingredients

  4. Blend until the hummus is smooth

  5. Adjust salt to taste

Tips

  1. Lightly coat vegetables in avocado oil, Himalayan salt, and spices such as Cajun seasoning

  2. Bake at 400 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes
