Custard Pudding with Fruit Cocktail Sauce

Ingredients

Custard

  • 1 cup custard powder
  • 5 cups water
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Sauce

  • 1 tin evaporated milk
  • 4 tins water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons custard powder

Preparation

  1. Mix all custard ingredients in a pot and stir well before turning on the heat.

  2. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly to avoid lumps, until thickened.

  3. Turn off heat, pour into a mold or pan, and let it set.

  4. For the sauce, combine all sauce ingredients in a pot and cook until boiling.

  5. Turn off heat and let cool.

  6. Serve the custard with the sauce.

Tips

  1. Optionally add cocktail fruits, sumi, or nata de coco.

  2. Prepare ahead and refrigerate for best results.
