No-Bake Chocolate Reindeer Cookies
Ingredients
- 300 g fine oats (I used @bettr_snacks)
- 400 g pitted dates
- 15 g cacao powder
- 200 g sunflower seeds
For decoration
- Mini pretzels
- Cereal honey hoops
- Chocolate covered hazelnuts/almonds (I used @bettr_snacks)
Preparation
Soak the dates in hot water for 10 minutes.
Blend oats, sunflower seeds, and cacao powder in a food processor.
Transfer the dry mixture to a bowl.
Blend the soaked dates into a paste-like consistency.
Combine the date paste with the dry mixture.
Add 2-3 tablespoons of hot water if needed to form dough.
Measure the dough and divide into equal large pieces.
Roll the dough into balls and flatten them into cookie shapes.
Decorate with pretzels for antlers, cereal loops for eyes, and chocolate-covered hazelnuts for noses.
Repeat the process for the remaining balls.
