Stir-Fried Squid in Oyster Sauce

Ingredients

  • 500g squid
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 red chilies
  • 1 spring onion
  • 2cm ginger
  • 5 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 4 tbsp chili sauce
  • 3 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp margarine

Preparation

  1. Clean the squid.

  2. Sauté the garlic until fragrant.

  3. Add the onion, red chilies, and ginger, and cook until wilted.

  4. Add the squid, oyster sauce, and all other sauces, and cook for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

Tips

  1. If cooked longer than 5 minutes, the squid may become tough.

  2. You can add more seasoning if needed.
