Tofu Balls Stuffed with Meatballs
Ingredients
- 10 meatballs
- 2 medium tofu
- 1 carrot
- Green onions and celery to taste
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon broth powder
- 3 tablespoons flour with a pinch of baking powder
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients together except the meatballs.
Take a small amount of the tofu mixture, flatten it, stuff it with a meatball, and shape into balls.
Fry in a generous amount of oil over medium heat until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve with a dipping sauce.
Tips
No need to use eggs as it won't break when fried.
Use flour with a small pinch of baking powder, but don't add too much or it will taste bitter.
For better results, use self-raising flour or high-protein flour to prevent breaking during frying.
