Tofu Balls Stuffed with Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 10 meatballs
  • 2 medium tofu
  • 1 carrot
  • Green onions and celery to taste
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon broth powder
  • 3 tablespoons flour with a pinch of baking powder

Preparation

  1. Mix all the ingredients together except the meatballs.

  2. Take a small amount of the tofu mixture, flatten it, stuff it with a meatball, and shape into balls.

  3. Fry in a generous amount of oil over medium heat until golden brown and cooked through.

  4. Serve with a dipping sauce.

Tips

  1. No need to use eggs as it won't break when fried.

  2. Use flour with a small pinch of baking powder, but don't add too much or it will taste bitter.

  3. For better results, use self-raising flour or high-protein flour to prevent breaking during frying.
