Ujang-Style Chicken Stir-Fry

Ingredients

Pounded mixture

  • Bird's eye chili
  • Half a large onion
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Optional small amount of belacan

Other components

  • Chicken, cut into small pieces and lightly fried
  • One large onion, sliced
  • Bird's eye chili, sliced
  • One garlic clove, smashed
  • Oyster sauce
  • Long beans or carrots, to taste
  • A little water

Preparation

  1. Stir-fry the pounded mixture until fragrant.

  2. Add the sliced onion and smashed garlic, cook until wilted.

  3. Add the chicken and oyster sauce, stir, and add a little water.

  4. Stir until the sauce thickens.

  5. Add the long beans and green chili.

  6. Cook briefly, then turn off the heat.
