Baked Oatmeal with Banana and Almond Butter
Ingredients
- 50g oats
- 1 medium banana
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp cardamom
- Pinch of salt
- 2 dates
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 150-180ml liquid (such as plant-based milk)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
In a mixing bowl, combine oats, mashed banana, cinnamon, vanilla, cardamom, salt, dates, almond butter, chia seeds, liquid, and baking powder. Mix everything until smooth.
Grease a ramekin and pour the mixture into it.
Top with sliced banana and a drizzle of almond butter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 18-22 minutes or until the top is golden and the oatmeal is set.
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
