Blueberry Oats Breakfast Bowl
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Strawberry chia jam
- 1 cup strawberries
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
Toppings
- banana
- almond butter
- grass fed yogurt
- cinnamon
- grain free granola
Preparation
Chop 1 cup of strawberries.
Boil the chopped strawberries over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of chia seeds. Let it cool and store in the fridge for up to a week.
In a pot, combine the oats, almond milk, blueberries, vanilla protein powder, and cinnamon. Cook over medium heat until the oats are soft and the mixture thickens, about 5-10 minutes
Serve the cooked oats in a bowl and top with sliced banana, almond butter, grass fed yogurt, additional cinnamon, grain free granola, and the prepared strawberry chia jam
