Blueberry Oats Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Strawberry chia jam

  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

Toppings

  • banana
  • almond butter
  • grass fed yogurt
  • cinnamon
  • grain free granola

Preparation

  1. Chop 1 cup of strawberries.

  2. Boil the chopped strawberries over medium heat for 5 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of chia seeds. Let it cool and store in the fridge for up to a week.

  4. In a pot, combine the oats, almond milk, blueberries, vanilla protein powder, and cinnamon. Cook over medium heat until the oats are soft and the mixture thickens, about 5-10 minutes

  5. Serve the cooked oats in a bowl and top with sliced banana, almond butter, grass fed yogurt, additional cinnamon, grain free granola, and the prepared strawberry chia jam
