Chocolate Nut Butter Thumbprint Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups wheat flour (or all-purpose)
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup cashew butter
  • dash vanilla extract

Filling

  • cashew butter
  • almond butter
  • Justins Cashew Butter and Almond Butter Covered Nuts

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly using hands or a food processor.

  3. Roll out about 18 balls and place them on the baking sheet.

  4. Gently press your thumb into each ball to create an indentation.

  5. Bake in the oven for 13 minutes.

  6. Remove from oven and let cool.

  7. Fill the indentations with cashew or almond butter.

  8. Sprinkle a generous amount of Justins nut butter covered nuts on top of each cookie.
