Chocolate Oats Bowl with Banana and Seeds
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup quick Steel Cut Oats (or soak 1/4 cup regular Steel Cut oats overnight)
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 chopped up medjool date
- 1/4 tsp ginger powder
- Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 sliced up banana
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Toppings
- thawed raspberries
- caramelized banana
- pumpkin seeds
- chocolate chunks
Preparation
Combine dry ingredients evenly then add in your liquids, banana and dates.
Bring mixture to a simmer and allow to cook until slightly thickened, 3-5 minutes.
Serve as desired. I love it when it’s nice and warm so it can melt the chocolate on top.
