Simple Quick Oats Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 medjool date
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • Salt to taste

Toppings

  • mango
  • blackberries
  • strawberries
  • banana
  • pepitas
  • sprinkle of seed mix

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients except for the banana.

  2. Bring to a simmer and stir as it thickens for 3 minutes.

  3. Towards the end of cook time, add in the banana and remove from heat.

  4. Stir to combine and adjust salt to taste.

  5. Top with fresh fruits and seeds such as mango, blackberries, strawberries, banana, pepitas, and seed mix
