Cinnamon Sugar French Toast Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 5-6 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 1 scoop collagen powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ghee for cooking
  • bananas for topping
  • honey for topping

Preparation

  1. Mix 2 eggs, 2 egg whites, 2 scoops vanilla protein powder, 1 scoop collagen powder, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 2 tablespoons cinnamon, 2 tablespoons coconut sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to make the batter.

  2. Soak 5-6 slices of sourdough bread in the batter.

  3. Heat ghee in a skillet over medium heat.

  4. Cook each bread slice for 4-5 minutes on each side.

  5. Top with additional coconut sugar, cinnamon, sliced bananas, and honey.
