Cinnamon Sugar French Toast Breakfast
Ingredients
- 5-6 slices sourdough bread
- 2 eggs
- 2 egg whites
- 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
- 1 scoop collagen powder
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ghee for cooking
- bananas for topping
- honey for topping
Preparation
Mix 2 eggs, 2 egg whites, 2 scoops vanilla protein powder, 1 scoop collagen powder, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 2 tablespoons cinnamon, 2 tablespoons coconut sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to make the batter.
Soak 5-6 slices of sourdough bread in the batter.
Heat ghee in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook each bread slice for 4-5 minutes on each side.
Top with additional coconut sugar, cinnamon, sliced bananas, and honey.
