Creamy Cozy Oatmeal Bowls

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS: (makes 2) ⁣
  • ▪️2 bananas (ripe & spotty) ⁣
  • ▪️1 cup rolled oats ⁣
  • ▪️2 TBS chia seeds ⁣
  • ▪️1 tsp cinnamon ⁣
  • ▪️pinch of sea salt ⁣
  • ▪️1 cup water ⁣
  • ▪️1 cup almond milk ⁣
  • ▪️1 scoop vegan vanilla protein ⁣

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a small pot⁣

  2. Cook over low to medium heat, stirring and mashing banana as it cooks⁣

  3. Cook for 5-8 minutes until thick and creamy, stirring frequently, so it doesn’t burn⁣

  4. If you find it’s too thick just stir in a little more milk to reach desired consistency⁣

  5. Pop into two bowls and add desired toppings⁣

  6. I added: blueberries pumpkin seeds (pepitas) and a dollop of peanut butter ⁣
