Easy Homemade S'mores Donuts
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup nut butter (e.g., Santa Cruz Organic peanut butter)
- 1/3 cup coconut sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder (e.g., Nuzest Smooth Vanilla Protein)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (e.g., Bob's Red Mill GF 1:1 Baking Flour)
- Chocolate chips (e.g., Enjoy Life Foods dark chips)
- Mini marshmallows
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a donut pan with non-stick spray.
In a high-powered blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients until creamy.
Stir in chocolate chips and diced marshmallows (note: if you want marshmallows on top, add them after baking).
Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity. This recipe makes approximately 6 donuts.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes.
Allow the donuts to cool before removing them from the pan.
Optional: If desired, microwave additional marshmallows to melt and drizzle them over the baked donuts.
