Pineapple Upside Down Baked Oats Dish
Ingredients
- chopped pineapple
- cinnamon
- 1 mashed banana
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 tbsp steel cut oats (optional)
- 1/2 cup plant milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground flax (optional)
- pinch of salt
- splash of vanilla
Preparation
Mix chopped pineapple with cinnamon in the bottom of a baking dish.
Prepare the oat batter by combining mashed banana, rolled oats, steel cut oats (if using), plant milk, cinnamon, baking powder, ground flax (if using), salt, and vanilla.
Pour the batter over the pineapple mixture in the baking dish.
Bake at 350°F for approximately 25 minutes.
For best results, make the bake the day before, refrigerate overnight to set, and it will flip onto the plate more smoothly.
