Vegan Almond and Oat Waffles
Ingredients
- 85 g almonds
- 125 g rolled oats
- 200 ml plant-based milk of your choice
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp baking powder
Preparation
Blend the almonds and rolled oats until they form a fine flour-like consistency
In a mixing bowl, combine the blended mixture with the baking powder
In another bowl, mix together the plant-based milk, maple syrup, and apple cider vinegar
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined to form a batter
Heat a waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions and cook the batter until golden brown and crispy
