Vegan Apple Pie for Thanksgiving and Everyday

Ingredients

  • 400g flour
  • 200g margarine
  • 150g sugar
  • 6 apples
  • 3 tbs sugar
  • 2 ts cinnamon
  • Juice of 1/2 Lemon

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (two-sided heat)

  2. Knead flour, sugar and margarine together

  3. Grease your cake tin with a bit of margarine

  4. Add 3/4 of the dough to a cake tin to bottom and sides

  5. Peel the apple and chop in small pieces

  6. Add the apple to a pot with cinnamon, 3tb sugar and the lemon

  7. Caramelize for about 10 minutes

  8. Puree the apples or leave them in cubes

  9. Add on top of the dough

  10. Crumble the rest of the dough over the pie

  11. Bake for 30-45 minutes
