Indonesian Sapo Tofu Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- 500 grams shrimp
- 400 grams tofu
- 2 bunches enoki mushrooms
- 1 carrot
- 3 stalks green onions
- 1 onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1.5 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- Water as needed
- Salt
- Sugar
Preparation
Dissolve the cornstarch in a little water to make a slurry.
Fry the tofu until golden brown, then remove and set aside.
Sauté the garlic and onion until wilted, then add the oyster sauce and soy sauce.
Add the shrimp and cook until it changes color, then add the carrot, water, sugar, and salt.
Once the carrot is tender, add the tofu, enoki mushrooms, and green onions.
Pour in the slurry, stir well, adjust the taste, remove from heat, and serve.
