Pasta with Meat and Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 3 cloves crushed garlic
- 500 grams ground meat
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon mixed spices
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 2 cups tomato juice
- 1 medium green bell pepper, cut into small cubes
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 250 grams pasta
For serving
- Parmesan cheese
- Green onions
Preparation
In a pot, add olive oil and heat on medium heat. Then add the meat, onion, and garlic. Stir continuously until the meat changes color and its aroma rises. Continue stirring until the meat is dry for a delicious taste.
Add salt, black pepper, oregano, and ground cardamom. Stir the meat to toast it with the spices.
Optionally add some rosemary leaves. Then add the bell pepper, pasta, tomato paste, and tomato juice. Stir well, add 3 cups of water, cover the pot, and cook on high heat for 10 minutes.
You can add more water depending on the sauce thickness. Transfer the pasta to a serving dish, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and serve immediately.
