Easy Homemade Chickpea Falafels
Ingredients
- 1 tin drained chickpeas
- Pinch of salt
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 heaped tablespoon tahini
- 5 tablespoons gram flour
- Handful of parsley with stalks
- 1 small red onion
- 2 cloves garlic
Preparation
Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until a rough paste forms.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Use two dessert spoons to shape the mixture into rough falafel kernels and add to the pan.
Fry until each side is golden brown, about 10 minutes total.
Layer the falafels into a wrap with avocado, beet kraut, fresh mint, and harissa mayo, then roll and serve.
