Fried Pastry with Cabbage and Meat Filling

Ingredients

Filling

  • Cabbage
  • 500g ground meat
  • 2 onions
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Dough

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 7 tablespoons flour

Frying

  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Preparation

  1. Mix the dough ingredients to form a smooth dough and let it rest for about 30 minutes.

  2. Prepare the filling by combining cabbage, ground meat, chopped onions, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

  3. Roll out the dough thinly and cut into circles approximately 15 cm in diameter.

  4. Place a portion of the filling in the center of each dough circle, fold over to form a half-moon shape, and seal the edges tightly.

  5. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the pastries until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
