Turkish Chopped Vegetable Salad
Ingredients
- 1 cucumber
- 1 tomato
- 1 small onion
- 1 large green pepper
Sauce
- 1 teaspoon pomegranate molasses
- 1 teaspoon sumac
- 1 teaspoon Urfa pepper
- a small amount of olive oil
- juice of half a lemon
- salt
Preparation
Process all ingredients in a food processor until coarsely chopped, pulsing briefly and repeating to avoid over-processing.
Drain excess water through a strainer.
In a separate bowl, mix the sauce ingredients and add to the salad.
Tips
This salad is meant to be eaten with bread for dipping.
