Turkish Potato Gözleme
Ingredients
- 500 grams potatoes
- 1 egg
- 1.5 cups flour plus more for rolling
- 4 green onions
- 4 dill stalks
- 4 parsley stalks
- 1 tablespoon butter or 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- black pepper
- turmeric
Preparation
Mix flour, egg, salt, and water to form a soft dough and let it rest for 15-20 minutes
Boil potatoes until soft, then mash them
Chop green onions, dill, and parsley, and mix with mashed potatoes, butter or oil, black pepper, and turmeric to make the filling
Divide dough into balls, roll out each piece thinly, add filling, fold over, and seal edges
Cook on a hot griddle or skillet over medium heat until golden brown on both sides
