Brazilian Cornmeal Cake with Anise
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon anise
Preparation
Blend the eggs, oil, and milk well in a blender
Gradually add the sugar, flour, and cornmeal while pulsing
Transfer to a bowl and add the baking powder and anise
Mix well gently
Pour the mixture into a greased bundt pan and bake in a medium oven for about 30 minutes
